S3E43: The Stresses Endured By A First Responder Family, How A Movie Inspired Their Foundation.

She was an EMT, and her spouse is a Police Officer. She is part of a first responer family and talks about the stresses, both emotional, physical and financial that first responder families face. When her EMT career was cut short by health problems, she watched the movie "American Sniper" with her police officer husband. Watching the movie and seeing how the stress impacted their marriage she decided to do something to help. I still get nervous when my husband heads out to his patrol vehicle; but I take comfort knowing that I am doing what I can to support him, his fellow officers, and their families.
