Lizzy Hershberger is our guest. She grew up in a closed Amish society. Lizzy talks about her very young years being sexually molested and abused by relatives. Then when she was 14 she was raped multiple times by a man that she worked for in the Amish Community. Lizzy discusses her 30 year quest for justice. The rapist was found guilty, but let off with a very light sentence. She also talks about her personal recovery from the years of trauma, her mission to help other sex assault victims and her book "Behind Blue Curtains: A True Crime Memoir of an Amish Woman's Survival, Escape, and Pursuit of Justice".
