Detective 1st grade Kristian Flood NYPDS Hostage Negotiator

Police officer Kristian Flood I got on the NYPD September 29,2000. After the academy he was assigned to  Housing PSA-7 in the South Bronx. In 2004 he was assigned to Housing special operations Citywide Anti-Crime( Housing Street Crime). In March 2006 he was assigned to the 47Squad. In 2014 he made Detective 2nd Grade. He then got on the NYPD Hostage Negotiation Team in 2017. He then made Detective 1st Grade in July 2018.  His last year he was temporarily assigned to the Violent Crimes Squad after the death of Brian Mulkeen from Bronx Anti-Crime.  There I was part of a long term Federal investigation that lead to over 20 people arrested and charged Federally for narcotics  and Gang activity.  I retired November 27,2020 and a week before my retirement I was called to a hostage job in the 106 were we successfully were able to talk to armed Gunman into releasing 3 women ages 90-60-33.
