Devolder Santos who is running as a Republican said in his announcement, “America is under attack. This time the attack is from within. It’s coming from radical leftists who are trying to destroy our most basic traditions and the very foundations of our Constitutional Republic. They are demonizing the free market system and capitalism, working tirelessly to destroy the bill of rights and most of all trying to impose their will and misconception of what makes a free and fair society on all of us. I want to be the candidate who will represent all of the constituents in New York’s Third Congressional District.”
Born in Jackson Heights, Queens to immigrant parents, George Anthony Devolder Santos grew up in a tight-knit family. He attended Baruch College and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor's in economics and finance.

His passion for helping others started from an early age. His mother founded an institution in Brazil, her native country, to help impoverished families providing non-perishable food monthly for well over 18 years. In the mid 1990’s, his mother and friends instituted a grassroots daily operation to distribute sandwiches around the Northeast Queens area to homeless individuals. Devolder Santos was a part of this effort from a young age. He and his family also engaged in helping children with EB-(Epidermolysis Bullosa) through various nonprofit organizations across the country supporting children worldwide, they have been proud financers of organizations that help these children in remote parts of the world where they are denied basic hygiene to care for their wounds.
Devolder Santos founded and ran a nonprofit 501(c)(3) called Friends of Pets United (FOPU) from 2013-18, an animal rescue and TNR (trap neuter and release) organization.
The campaign’s key issues are immigration reform, the economy, specifically tax reform and balancing the budget, and veterans’ affairs. Also of vital concern are defending our Constitution, mental health, education, and of course MS13 which generated attention from the public, law enforcement, and policymakers. MS13 preys on our youth and Devolder Santos says he will make it his mission to use whatever resources available to him to fight this serious problem and keep our streets safe.--- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/otcpod1/support
