In these two combined episodes of Real Crime stories retired NYPD Chief of Department Louis Anemone, and Sergeant's Benevolent Association Vice President Vinnie Vallelong, discuss the recently released NYC Department of Investigation report on the NYPD's response to the George Floyd riots. In addition the diaphragm law, precision policing, anti crime, and reducing violence in community's is discussed. Chief Anemone did 34 years with the NYPD and is widely known as one of the top disorder control experts in the world. Vinnie Vallelong has been assigned to the 5th and 62nd Precincts, as well as the Manhattan South Task Force, the 63 Robbery Apprehension Module and the 62 Detective Squad. As a Sergeant, he was assigned to the Brooklyn South Detective Operations, where he was an SBA delegate. He has also served as the SBA’s Detective Bureau Director and Marshal.
