Retired NYPD Commanding Officer of the Aviation Unit Jim Coan

Retired NYPD Inspector James Coan retired after 31 ears on the NYPD as the CO of the Aviation Unit. James Coan is also a retired Lieutenant colonel of the national guard. During Inspector Coan's 31 year police career he collected three medals of Valor along with numerous other departmental awards. One of the units he was most proud of being a member of was the street Crime Unit, who's motto is 'We own the Night."
