On today’s episode we are discussing legal precedent and your 1st Amendment rights. We are specifically discussing a case out of Pennsylvania where a high school student made a post on social media that she subsequently got into trouble for.
We bring up a number of historical examples where the supreme court has ruled on cases having to do with free speech rights both inside of schools as well as in the general public. Even though some of these cases are over 100 years old, they are just as applicable to current social media use as they were when they were first decided.
