#202: April Is The Cruelest Month

Today’s episode is the second episode in a three-part series where we are explaining how historical events and stories sometimes get “hijacked by history” which results in people changing the significance of the past in order to suit the needs of the present. 

In this episode we are talking about how the process in which our memory works will cause us to string together different events in order to fit a pattern that may not actually be there. We are centering the discussion around the many significant dates in recent U.S. history that occur in the month of April and we attempt to answer the question; Is April really the cruelest month?
